Mansur Habibullah Memorial School formerly known as South End School was established in the year 1979 by Syed Abul Mansur Habibullah. He was the former speaker of West Bengal Legislative Assembly & Law minister, Govt. of West Bengal. This school started with only 30 boys and girls. However, it made good progress over over the years, and the strength has now become 2000. It obtained its affiliation from the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (C.I.S.C.E) in 1989. At present there are 60 teaching and 20 non teaching staff. The school caters to the needs of the students and provides an all-round development of the students. The school has three building, Pre - Primary, Primary and Secondary section with a beautiful garden and two play grounds The school atmosphere is very healthy and congenial.
