Editorial policy
Sourcing
Every school listing on AdmissionSchool draws from primary sources — the school's own website, the school's mandatory disclosure, the relevant board's affiliation registry (CBSE, CISCE, IB, Cambridge), and state Department of Education records. Information that cannot be sourced to a primary record is not published.
Independence
Our editorial team operates independently of our commercial team. We do not accept payment to change rankings, hide reviews, or alter listings. Sponsored placements appear only in clearly labelled positions and never in the main directory rank.
Verification standards
Our full verification methodology — what we check, how often, and what "verified" means on a school card — is documented at How we verify schools.
Reviews
Parent and student reviews are moderated for content (no personally identifying information, no defamation, no plagiarism, no paid endorsements) before publication. Schools may respond publicly to reviews; they may not pay to remove them.
Corrections
We aim to correct factual errors within 5 working days of being notified. Email corrections@admissionschool.com with the school name, the page URL and the field in question.
Author bylines and updates
Every guide carries an author byline and a published date. When we materially update an article, we add an "Updated" date alongside the original.
AI and automation
We use automation for data collection (affiliation lookups, fee structures) and search indexing. Editorial content — guides and policy pages — is written and reviewed by humans.
