How to apply, step by step

1
Shortlist on distance first
List every school within a realistic daily commute. At nursery age a shorter journey beats a bigger name.
2
Check the age cut-off
Confirm the age the school requires as on 31 March of the admission year before paying any registration fee.
3
Collect documents
Birth certificate, address proof, photographs, parents' ID and any reservation certificates the school accepts.
4
Register within the window
Submit forms as soon as they open — pre-primary registration windows are short and seats are the fewest of any grade.
5
Attend the interaction
Most schools hold an informal parent-child interaction rather than a test. Ask about staff ratio, nap and washroom support while you are there.
