Nestled between the lush green tea gardens where the snowcapped mountains of Arunachal peep through the Nahors, The Assam Valley School prides itself in being a ‘School for adventure’ where education cherishes, enhances and inspires a student to be the best that they can be. The aspiration that lay at the core of its inception was to bring to the North East of India an institution which will be an amalgamation of the dynamics of a public school with a pan-Indian reach. The seed of this vision lay ensconced in the history of tea and the legend of the Williamson Magor Group, the world’s largest private tea company. It will be the drive and dynamism of Mrs. Julia Magor which will see to the inch by inch growth of this mammoth institution into the School, it is today.
